Covid-19 Kata/ Kihon guideline

In light of the COVID-19 concerns please with immediate effect adjust all KATA and KIHON training as follows:

Minimum 2 meter gap maintained at all times between students

• Kihon
• Kata

No Team Kata with BUNKAI to be practced, that may have any physical contact, to be conducted until further notice

Please refer to example as below

Please adopt in all classes in all dojos with immediate effect.

Coronavirus Update

Recognizing the evolving nature of the virus, we request that any student or parents / caregivers that have traveled to China over the holidays to self-isolate for 14 days from arrival into New Zealand before coming to or entering the dojo.


It has been recommended that you avoid travel to China or hosting family/friends who have recently returned until more is known about the virus and the full extent of the risk it poses.
